Time to shake those groggers! During the holiday of Purim, we tell the story of how a courageous young woman named Esther and her wise uncle Mordechai saved the Jewish people of Persia from destruction.  The highlight of our festivities at CBE is our Purim Shpiel, a hilarious play based on the story of Purim. This annual highlight is spearheaded by our Cantor Waghalter, with many CBE members taking center stage to perform!  Of course, after the Shpiel, we enjoy delicious hamentaschen, triangle-shaped cookies filled with jams and jellies.
