Lunches of Love is committed to helping end childhood hunger in Fort Bend County by providing a free nutritious sack lunch during extended school holidays and weekends. All ages are welcome...we have lots of jobs for everyone!
WEEKEND EDITION INFO
DOORS UNLOCK AT 9:30 AM
Many children who live in food insecure homes are left wondering where their next meal is coming from on extended school holidays and weekends...LoL is here to help fill that gap.
Tasks: Prep dry goods and pack non-perishable care packages for children living in food insecure households. Once finished packing, we will load vans for delivery. Guidelines: We follow strict guidelines set by our health inspector.
1. Please pull long hair up/back. Wear a cap or use a hair cover provided by LoL.
2. If wearing long sleeves, please pull up past your elbows so no clothing will come into contact with food at prep tables and assembly line.
We'll have bag decorating supplies ready for our kiddos to decorate bags for our care packages...all art levels appreciated.
Please use the single door in the courtyard area - doors unlock at 9:30 A.M.

Biography: Seth Gratz and Alex Scheiner are 8th graders in Congregation Beth El
Religious School. They have both had Bar Mitzvahs and re going on to Confirmation. They both hope to make an impact on the community by applying what they’ve learned to life, giving back, and spreading awareness about problems.
Why we’re doing this: Seth and Alex hope to bring awareness about the destruction of nature and they will strive to make a difference. Seth and Alex’s goal is to inspire others to work for nature as well.
