As we continue to monitor the health situation in our community, CBE will hold religious services via Zoom or Livestream until further notice.

Count Me In 2021

The first night of Hanukkah this year is Sunday, November 28.

Count Me In is excited to be back this year and making Hanukkah brighter for others.

Last year, Count Me In pivoted to a largely virtual model for Hanukkah 2020.  When they transitioned last year, they had no idea what to expect and were deeply moved to see the continuation of support of Count Me In in spite of such a big change to the program.

For the first time, Count Me In was able to provide families the opportunity to shop for their children for Hanukah. This allowed parents and caregivers to give the gifts their children wanted and needed the most. This was deeply meaningful for them.

The gift card model builds on our mission to maintain the dignity of those individuals that we serve. For that reason, it has been decided that Count Me In will continue this model for the Hanukkah 2021 season.

Please consider making a tax-deductible donation below and Beth El will cut one huge check to Count Me In!
To ensure Count Me In receives our monetary gift on time, our deadline to process online donations is Tuesday, October 26.
If you choose to mail in a check, CBE must receive it no later than Monday, October 25.

Count Me In, Inc. is a non-profit 501C3 corporation, which began as a High School community service project by two local Jewish teens, Eric Berdinis, Ben Rice, and their families, when the boys started 9th grade.  Their mission was to collect and distribute 8 NEW, UNUSED Hanukkah gifts to children in the community ages birth-18 years old whose families are experiencing financial difficulties.  A major component of the program is that it is anonymous and allows the recipient parents to provide the Hanukkah gifts directly to their children.
